Beware: A Wolff in Sheep’s Clothing

Wolff-Chaikoff a sheep in wolf's clothing

Not long after the end of World War II, UC Berkley dropped a medical nuclear bomb in 1948, which became known as the Wolff-Chaikoff effect. The Wolff-Chaikoff effect caused the eradication of iodine from the food supply and most likely caused a lot of unnecessary deaths and suffering in the US due to its negative impact on iodine consumption by the population. What’s even worse, is that after the study, the use of non-radioactive iodine in medical practices completely vanished. (1,2)

The Wolff-Chaikoff study proposed that iodide levels of 0.2 mg or greater, given to rats resulted in hypothyroidism and goiter. The interesting fact is, these rats never became hypothyroid. What’s even more shocking is that the rat’s thyroid hormones were not even measured in their blood! Nevertheless, the Wolff-Chaikoff effect, was transferred to humans and suddenly the essential mineral iodine, became public enemy number one.

To the complete disgrace of the medical profession, US healthcare professionals regurgitated the Wolff-Chaikoff effect to their patients and as a result, it almost completely eliminated the clinical use of non-radioactive iodine in effective amounts. However, that did not stop the clinical use of toxic iodine-containing drugs and radiodide.

All of this created what is known today as the iodophobic mentality which prevented further research on the daily requirements for non-radioactive iodine by the entire human body, which interestingly enough appears to be 100-400 times the current recently established RDA. Before World War II, US physicians extensively used potassium iodide in both hypo- and hyperthyroidism, effectively. (3,4)

Without proper amounts of iodine in our food supply we all are at risk. When sufficient levels of iodine (experts say 100-400 times the RDA) are present, benefits like protection against goitrogens, the normalization of hormone functions, improved immune function, protection of DNA, and detoxes the body by increasing the urinary excretion of toxic metals like lead, cadmium, mercury, and aluminum, as well as fluoride and bromide. (2-4)

Today, iodophobia is a real threat and if one gets caught in the iodophobic net, it becomes a sick, twisted cycle that’s difficult to escape. One of the most important things we can do is educate ourselves, and our friends and family, about the amazing health benefits of iodine and expose the enemies within our gates that pose as guardians of our thyroid gland.

Thyroid Warrior is a new, ground-breaking formula that uses non-radioactive iodine sourced from deep underground brine wells, which are then refined and purified and finally dissolved and then exposed to an electromagnetic field to create the only patented, consumable form of iodine, designed for maximum absorption and effectiveness. Thyroid Warrior is safe to use as directed and is non-toxic.
