Apples and ginger make a great pairing in this weight loss smoothie. Together, the two make the smoothie not to sweet nor too tart. A juicy green apple can provide plenty of fiber to your daily diet. Fiber-rich foods help with weight loss by keeping you full longer and suppressing unwanted cravings.

This recipe is a perfect way to start your morning or enjoy as an afternoon snack. Apples contain a fiber called pectin which helps to block the absorption of bad cholesterol. Apple are especially helpful to curb cravings and control insulin levels by slowly releasing sugar into the bloodstream.

3/4 Cup Almond Milk

1 Green Apple Cored & Chopped

1-inch Cut of Fresh Ginger, Grated

1/2 Frozen Banana

2 Tsp Honey

1 Cup Spinach

1/2 Cup Ice Cubes

PREPARATION:

Place all items in blender.

Blend until smooth consistency.

Serve immediately.
